How to Save an Undead Life

Review:

How to Save an Undead Life (The Beginner's Guide to Necromancy Book 1) - Hailey Edwards

While I enjoyed the writing and found the world interesting, I had a hard time getting into this one. Grier was incarcerated at 16 for a killing someone (hint she didn't do it- not a spoiler). At 21 she is expectantly released, but why? That's one of the things that is discussed (shall we say) in this book.
While I really liked Grier (she has PTSD from her incarceration), I also thought she read younger then 21. I was worried at first because this had a hint of a love triangle, but luckily it wasn't. Boaz and Grier's relationship was confusing to me- it seems romantic at times and then brother-sister-ish at times.
I did like the thing with necromancers and vampires. That was interesting. I loved Woolly and the idea of giving a house sentience.
