Review: The Werewolf Meets His Match

The Werewolf Meets His Match The Werewolf Meets His Match by Kristen Painter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Nocturne Falls is a town where it is Halloween 365 days out of the year. As a result, supernaturals can live freely out in the open. Hank is the firstborn of the Merrow family and heir to his father who is the current alpha. He knows he may need to make an advantageous marriage for the Pack. This comes when Clemons Kincaid calls in a favor the Merrow Pack owes him. Marry his daughter or face war between the packs.
Ivy was a good character. She was abused by her father (he thinks women are second class citizens), but still knows she has value and tries to figure out how to get out. When she meets Hank, she is pleasantly surprised to find that he is kind. His family and the town are welcoming and she quickly falls for him (and he for her). She realizes she could have a life here, but there is one thing that he needs to know first.
Hank was a good hero for both his falling for Ivy, but his acceptance of Charlie. A future book should include his sister (Bridget) and Ivy's brother (Sam). This was a ncie, sweet read and exactly what I was in the mood for.
