Maythorn married the village miller at 15. Known as Mistress Miller, she had 3 daughters. Her husband really wanted sons and began to beat her. One night, after a debilitating beating, he also beat the eldest daughter, Ivy. The asshole proceeds to get drunk and dies. Yay!!
Maythorn saves baby who happens to be fae. As a result, she bargains for wishes for herself, her daughters, and their female offspring. Maythorn gets her wish.
Maythorn is a good, kind character to route for. I also liked Ren, who had already secretly admired her for afar. I also liked that her transformation didn't fool him. Decently paced.

When she was 13, Hazel fell for an other man. She promised herself to him, and supposedly, he to her. He left the village to go find his fortune. He has been gone for 10 years. When Hazel turns 23, she wisely asked to be able to find anyone or anything. She leaves to go get him and along the way meets Tam.
Well-paced, love happens quickly in this one. Likeable characters. I liked that Hazel got to save Tam. Always a sucker for the trope of falling for someone when the person doesn't know the full name of the person they are falling for. Hazel does figure it out, but only after she falls for him.

Larkspur was the next to have her birthday and her wish. She wished to knoe people's thoughts, only the problem is, she can't tune them out. This opens with her withdrawn and slowly going insane. But her gift comes in handy because the sisters come across a deer that is really a man. 
Larkspur's gift comes in handy in this one. She is able to figure out who the culprit is and saves the day. Ivy shows her unselfishness and uses her gift for Larkspur. Ivy was crippled from her father's abuse. I liked how it didn't matter to Hugh. Again, the love progresses quickly in this one as well. 
Well paced, with some mystery, intrigue, and romance.

Larkspur's wish went awry and she feels guilty that Ivy didn't use her wish for herself. She decided to earn a wish and restore Ivy to full health. She asks Cadoc to help her. 
This one is easily my least favorite. I thought the "quest" was creepy. I would have liked something different. Larkspur does find her courage and confesses her feelings for Cadoc. But, still creepy.

Ava is getting married. Lacey, Ava's best friend and maid of honor, is tasked with decorating Ava's family cottage. This cottage has a reputation as bestowing upon a couple a happy marriage. Ava's brother, Ean, is also tasked with helping. Lacey has been in love with Ean since they were teenagers. When Lacey was 14, and Ean 18, she professed that love. Suffice to say, Ean didn't handle it well and they haven't spoken for 12 years. 
I liked this mainly for Lacey and Ean. Both are good characters on their own and compliment each other well. They are also likable. This novella was well-paced. However, I hated Ava. In love with the idea of being married and a complete Bridezilla. She was a BITCH. She did redeem herself in the end, but not enough for me to want to read her HEA (Ever After).
